My family was worried about convenience when we started trying to be “waste-less.” My family has now subscribed to @whogivesacraptp for toilet paper, tissues, and paper towels - and @plaineproducts for shampoo and conditioner (and will get more products when we run out of old lotions and stuff), and now just started with @dropps for laundry and dish detergent! At first my mom was worried that these companies were more money, but at first glance the cost only seems more because she is buying huge bulks! These products are delivered to our door, and then each supply lasts for months! My Nana made this wreath out of an old tire! She painted it green and put decorations on it. This is a great idea for making festive up cycled art, you don’t have to buy the wreaths made out of actual branches, and instead you can recycle an old tire you might have. What an awesome idea! Had the most amazing time at the Youth Climate Strike yesterday! Couldn’t believe Greta Thunberg was right in front of us during the march! But so amazing was all the young people- not just there marching, but on the stage! This was all organized by youth. I see a lot of negative comments about this movement from older conservatives, but we are the future! Only disappointment of yesterday was that I didn’t see @rainnwilson !
